I hereby agree to the following:
 

1. All deposits and payments are non-refundable.  It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment and your health and well-being. It is important to arrange travel insurance before traveling to Italy, covering for medical expenses due to illness or injury, the loss of baggage and travel documents, plus cancellation or curtailment of your journey.  Suggested companies are: www.worldnomads.com, www.travelex.com  or www.statravel.com. IF and only IF the retreat fills up completely AND someone takes your spot, a partial refund may be given at Retreat Savvy’s discretion minus a $300 administration fee.

2. There is a minimum of 12 retreat participants to confirm this retreat (18 maximum). If there are not enough participants, it will be cancelled and your deposit will be refunded.  We recommend not purchasing flights until the retreat is confirmed. Retreat Savvy is not responsible for any loses due to purchased flights, visas, passports, vaccinations, time loss or any other losses.  We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

3. That I am participating in the Yoga Retreat or Workshops offered by Retreat Savvy during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga and health. I recognize that yoga and hiking require physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

4. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the Yoga Retreat, or Workshops. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in the Yoga and Hiking Retreat or Workshops.

5. In consideration of being permitted to participate in Yoga and Hiking Retreat or Workshops, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, illnesses, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the program or during my stay in Italy.

6. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in Yoga Retreats or Workshops, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Retreat Savvy, Laura Christensen, or any of my teachers, guides or assistants for injury, damages and/or illnesses that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program or traveling to, from and throughout Italy.

7. I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Retreat Savvy, Laura Christensen, or any of my teachers, guides or assistants for any injury or death caused by her negligence, from traveling, hiking doing yoga, or other acts. I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

8. I hereby give my consent to Retreat Savvy, Laura Christensen, and any of my teachers and their photographers to photograph me and use the photograph(s) for informational, educational, promotional, marketing or publicity purposes.  I understand that the photograph(s) may be used on the Retreat Savvy website or Laura Christensen or any of my teachers' websites, social media channels, or in displays, marketing materials, ads, or other public locations. I also understand that the photograph(s) may be used without any further consent or authorization from me; the photograph(s) may be modified in the process of editing, and I will not be entitled to any compensation for use of the photograph(s). I also agree to release Retreat Savvy, Laura Christensen, or any of my teachers, guides or assistants and their photographers from any and all liability arising out of or connected to the use of the photograph(s) as stated above.

9. I understand that it is highly recommended that I obtain travel insurance and I am aware that all deposits and payments are non-refundable under ALL circumstances, including but not limited to: illness, death, cancellation of flights, travel advisories, loss of job, etc.  If I choose not to obtain travel insurance, I do so at my own risk.

10. Retreat Savvy and Laura Christensen will do everything in their power to keep the schedule of events and venues as presented on the website.  In the case of occurrences beyond her control (i.e. illness, death, pending death, a venue closing down, travel warnings, weather, etc), venues, schedule and yoga teacher/retreat leader may be subject to change, or retreat subject to cancellation.

Cancellation policy:
